How can I customize the look of my application?
The Customize tab offers a variety of layout and themes to customize
the appearance of your forms and views. Layouts and Themes
can be combined together to create a visually appealing website.
What is a layout?
A layout is the arrangement of the Forms and Views in a Zoho Creator
application. You can select the required layout for your application
from the Customize -> Choose Layout tab.
What is a Theme?
Themes are the colours, fonts, and background images making up the
style of your forms and views. You can pick from a range of themes from
the Customize -> Choose Theme tab and also create your own
customized themes, to suit your requirements.

What are the different types of layouts
supported by Zoho Creator?
The Customize -> Choose Layout tab displays the different type
of layouts supported by Zoho Creator, as shown in the screen-shot given
below. By default, the forms and views in your application will be displayed
as a Pane Left layout.
- To select a new layout, move mouse over the required layout and click
on the Apply button.
- To preview the layout, click on the Preview button.

The screen-shot given below displays the form and view links as a
pane left layout arranged under different sections.

What are the different types
of Themes supported by Zoho Creator?
The Customize -> Choose Theme tab displays the
different type of themes supported by Zoho Creator, as shown in the screen-shot
given below. By default, the forms and views in your application will
be displayed with the Professional theme.
- To select a new theme, move mouse over the theme, select
a color that can be applied for the theme and click on the Apply button.
- To preview the theme, click on the Preview button.
- To create a new custom theme, use the Custom Theme button.

How can I create a custom theme for my
application?
To create a new custom theme,
- Select Customize -> Choose Theme tab.
- Click on the Create Theme button displayed next to the Custom
themes header.
- Specify the theme name and select the theme based on which the custom
theme will be created.
- Select the font, size, style, alignment, style etc from the options
listed.
- Cick Save to create your custom theme.
- Click Preview to view the forms and views with the custom theme.

How can I arrange my forms
and views under different sections? Can I add a new section or
rename a section?
Select Customize -> Rearrange Links to arrange the
forms and views under different sections. By default, all the
forms and views will be listed under the Home section.
- To add a new section, click on Add New Section button,
specify the section name and click Add.
- To rename a section, select the Edit button placed
near the section name. Specify the new name and click Update.
The section will be modified with the specified name.

Can I hide a section from being
displayed in Live mode?
If you do not want to display certain forms/views in the live mode, you
can place them under a new section and select the Show/Hide button placed near the section name. When you hide a section, the forms
and views listed under this section will not be displayed in Live mode.
You can display the hidden section anytime you want to, by clicking on
the Show/Hide button.

Can I delete a section?
The delete button is displayed only if you have forms/views
arranged under more than one section. To delete a section, select the
Delete button placed near the section name.
- When you delete a section, all the forms/views listed under this
section will be moved to the previous section.
- When you delete the first section, all the forms and views will
be moved to the next section.

Why my app not take the changes?, if you make some changes in layout or theme you only can view this changes on cretaor builder but if you deploy you app in Google App Engine don't work.

FYI -
I understand the show/hide option, but I don't know how to know when it is toggled on for Showing, or on for Hiding...
The only way I can tell is by accessing the application
Perhaps this is a video or browser issue... I'm working via safari.
